India’s Biggest Hotel Chain ‘OYO Rooms’ Announces Harshit Vyas New Chief Business Officer

OYO Rooms and House, also known as OYO has recently announced the appointment of Harshit Vyas as their new Chief Business Officer (CBO), India. The new appointment is in the line with OYO’s attempt to invest in top-level leadership and take a step forward to its goal of improving all types of real estate and so that enable 3.2 billion (approx. 23,000 crores) middle-class travelers and city dwellers can have #LivingTheGoodLife experience.

Born in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, Vyas has been a part of the budget hotel chain since its inception. At the age of 19, he was the part of the first five core committee members, focusing on business development for OYO’s initial launch in Gurugram, along with CEO of OYO, India and South Asia, Aditya Gosh. In his tenure, Vyas build a team of local nationals, experiment numerous business models, and made good relationships with asset partners in Malaysia.

As the new CBO, Vyas will directly report to CEO Gosh and will be in-charge to execute all business metric including supply, demand, and operations. He will have field teams around the country reporting to him directly and will work firmly with the central capability functions.

Speaking on his new job and journey with the budget hotel chain Vyas said, “Starting my career with OYO rooms heavily impacted on my professional journey and crafted my leadership skills.
