Its platform is used by several firms for everything from capture to Playback regardless of device size and form factor.
According to Dirac CEO Mathias Johansson, “As device size is reduced and becomes complex then digital signal processing is the key to unlock their full audio capability and creating premium sound experiences. With this new funding, we can proceed in digitizing sound systems thus creating more Innovative and effective audio processing solutions that can attain innovation in both audio playbacks.”
Dirac has opened Copenhagen Research Development Center and appointed Armin Prommersberger as CTO who was former Harman International executive.
Johansson told new 5G network will assist widely in developing new technologies in various sectors along with audio sector too.
