Yalochat, a Sant Francisco headquartered artificial Intelligence based CRM (Customer Relationship Management) firm raised $8 Million from Sierra Ventures, a San Francisco-based and Peter Wendell-founded venture capital firm having specialization in customer relationship management market. The company prior to a recent round of funding previously raised $2 Million in the seed round. The company is planning to use raised funds to explore its presence in India. It has also bought an office in Mumbai, to establish it as India’s operation headquarters. It will also hire minimum 50 new engineers in the country to provided service to existing clients in India including payment firm PayU, Kerala Government, lender RBL Bank, and insurer Edelweiss Tokio. It also has a global market unicorn like Amazon, Walmart’s Flipkart and PepsiCo as its clients.

At the Global level, Yalochat has its presence in Mexico City, San Francisco, Shanghai, Bogota, and Sao Paulo. The company is providing tough competition to Twilio, Zendesk, Nexmo, and Gupshup.

In the row to expand its business in India, The Company also said in a statement that, it is looking for Indian chief technology officer who will work in coordination with global CTO Kyle Passarelli, former director of engineering of PayPal.

On looking over the functionality of Yalochat, It works as a CRM platform. It assists companies in using its AI-based bot services over various messaging platforms like messenger, wattsapp, WeChat and Facebook. If customer pursues chat using Yalochat then he or she can get better solutions to its problem in short span.

According to founder and chief executive of Yolachat Javier Mata, “We have continuously aimed to provide companies relaxation of access and use related to CRM through our AI-based platform. While our services and products have gained the recognition of global enterprises, our WhatsApp native solution will significantly enhance the prospects of introducing our chat-based CRM solutions to a lot more organizations”.
