Agritech Start-Up Wavar’s IPM Solutions Benefit Farmers across India

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) solutions from agritech start-up Wavar are transforming agriculture in India. Farmers in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh are reporting remarkable results, including up to 50% savings in pesticide spraying costs, improved crop quality, and significantly reduced pest infestations.

Maharashtra: Cutting Costs and Boosting Efficiency. In Junnar, Pune, experienced farmer Dnyaneshwar Shingote reaped benefits on his 5-acre chilli farm by adopting Wavar’s IPM solutions. Shingote reduced his monthly spraying cycles from four to two, slashing his costs by over 50%. Encouraging others to follow suit, he highlighted the dual advantage of cost savings and improved outcomes.

Horticulturist Harshad Naik, based in Navsari, applied IPM early in the fruiting stage of his mango orchards, focusing on popular varieties like Dasehari, Hapus, and Kesar.
