A special campus episode concluded the fifth season of the business reality series Shark Tank India. Startups responded enthusiastically to the season, with numerous founders pitching their concepts to raise capital.

This time, 73 startups were able to secure deals out of 152 pitches. The investors, referred to as “sharks,” committed a total of Rs 94.88 crore.

Aman Gupta Tops Investment Charts in Shark Tank India Season 5

Aman Gupta made the most investments this season, according to the investment report that was revealed in the previous episode. He was the season’s top investor, having invested a total of Rs 24.6 crore in 23 firms.

Namita Thapar remained close as well, spending a total of Rs 13.7 crore in 22 businesses. Anupam Mittal funded a total of eighteen enterprises while matching the same investment amount of Rs 13.7 crore.

Other Sharks Show Solid Investment Activity

Kunal Bahl is one of the top contributors this season, having invested Rs 13.83 crore in 14 businesses.

Ritesh Agarwal contributed a total of Rs 6.4 crore to seven businesses. Varun Alagh also contributed Rs 6.3 crore and supported seven businesses. Vineeta Singh made nine investments totaling Rs 4.3 crore.

Mohit Yadav, one of the panel’s more recent members, invested Rs 3.7 crore in seven businesses. Kanika Tekriwal contributed a total of Rs 2.8 crore to five businesses.

Some Sharks Opted for Fewer Deals

This season, a few investors had fewer transactions. Amit Jain made three startup investments totaling Rs 1.7 crore. Additionally, Viraj Bahl contributed Rs 1.45 crore to three ventures.

With Rs 1.75 crore invested in two firms, Shaily Mehrotra made the fewest investments.

The Most Noteworthy Startup Ideas of the Season

The sharks were drawn to a number of intriguing and inventive business concepts this season. The Croffle Guys, GOAT Life, Cookie Cartel, Japam, The Bindi Project, Modge, Floreal, Phitku, and Heizen were among the most talked-about pitches. These companies were among the season’s highlights because of their distinctive concepts and powerful presentations.

Overall, the season showed an increase in interest in companies in a variety of industries, with entrepreneurs contributing innovative and useful ideas.
