Koparo Clean has sold a total of 300,000 units so far. Their most popular product is the Dish Washing Liquid, which is priced at ₹159. Other brands sell similar dishwashing liquids for ₹125. The Laundry Care Liquid from Koparo Clean comes in a 45-dose pack and costs ₹529, which is equivalent to ₹11.7 per dose. In comparison, other laundry care liquids offer a 33-dose pack for ₹440, or ₹13.3 per dose.
In August 2023, Koparo Clean had sales of ₹80 lakh, which was part of the total revenue of ₹4.5 crore for the financial year 2022-23. For the financial year 2023-24, they aim to achieve sales of ₹12 crore. Koparo Clean’s sales come from different places, with 45% from their own website, 40% from Amazon, 8% from Big Basket, and 7% from Quick Commerce and other channels.
They have calculated that 34% of their costs are from the cost of goods sold, 28% for order processing, logistics, and warehousing, and another 34% for performance marketing. Their contribution margin, which is an important measure for profitability, ranges from 2% to 4%. They have also raised funds through two rounds, getting ₹5.6 crore in November 2021 and an additional ₹12 crore in February 2023, totaling ₹17.6 crore. In August 23, the business faced a loss of ₹21 lakh, and the total expenses amounted to ₹27 lakh. The money they have in the bank is more than ₹10 crore.
