Eternal, a leading Foodtech company, has designated Aditya Mangla as the CEO of its food ordering and delivery venture.

Rakesh Ranjan, who has finished a two-year term as CEO of the vertical, will be succeeded by Mangla.  Eternal stated in an exchange filing that he also stopped being classified as a senior management personnel (SMP) from July 6.

A Look at Mangla’s Journey Within Eternal

Mangla has been appointed as SMP as well.  Before this, Manga, who became part of Eternal in 2021, held the position of head of product for food ordering and delivery.

He has occupied various leadership positions in the food delivery sector, such as head of supply and head of customer experience.  He has more than 20 years of experience and has worked with companies such as Bloomberg and HCL Technologies before joining the company led by Deepinder Goyal.

This follows three months after the reporting of Ranjan’s resignation in April.  He remains linked to the company.

Leadership Changes Confirmed by Deepinder Goyal

Goyal had confirmed in the shareholders’ letter from Eternal’s Q4, published in May, that Ranjan would be stepping down as CEO of food delivery.  “Bringing in new people to examine the business has always been beneficial, and we are reorganizing internal leadership to introduce fresh perspectives into the business,” he said then.

At 10:35 AM, Eternal’s shares were trading on the BSE at INR 258.45, reflecting a decrease of 1.07%.
