Heizen on Shark Tank India Season 5 Episode 35

Heizen, a digital business using artificial intelligence to revolutionize software development, had one of the most impressive pitches in Shark Tank India Season 5 Episode 35. Heizen’s creative concept, which combined intelligent AI agents with skilled engineering personnel, caught the Sharks’ interest and resulted in a strategic investment agreement that should hasten the company’s expansion and market reach.

About Heizen: Revolutionizing Software Delivery with AI

The Innovation Behind Heizen

Heizen is fundamentally a platform-driven service that employs AI-augmented workflows to revolutionize the development of custom software, not only a software consultant. Heizen uses weekly sprint cycles instead of conventional waterfall models, using AI agents to help developers with ideation, code development, testing, and iteration. Teams may iterate more quickly with this paradigm, which also increases productivity and decreases delivery bottlenecks.

Heizen provides the following by fusing the finest aspects of human creativity and AI automation:

  • Faster turnaround for MVP development
  • Cost-efficient software solutions
  • Scalable engineering capacity for growing tech teams

These factors establish Heizen as a significant rival in the worldwide market for software delivery and IT services.

Growth and Client Adoption

The fact that Heizen has onboarded more than 50 clients in India and the United States since its founding, reports a steady growth rate of about 20% per month, and maintains a solid 83% first-month client retention rate shows that its delivery model appeals to businesses looking for speed, quality, and predictability.

What Heizen Actually Does

The platform and service model offered by Heizen consists of:

AI-Augmented Software Delivery: This method allows human engineers to concentrate on intricate design and innovative problem-solving by using intelligent AI agents (often big language model-based) to help with code generation, testing, documentation, and quality assurance chores.

Custom MVP Development: Creates minimal viable products (MVPs) for tech teams and early-stage enterprises that require quick idea validation.

Internal Tools & Automation: Develops internal business tools, such as admin panels, productivity apps, workflow automations, and dashboards, according to business requirements.

AI-First Digital solutions: Creates complete solutions that incorporate cutting-edge AI features including predictive features, customer-centric workflows, and intelligent automation.

By dividing work into weekly milestones, weekly sprint-based delivery enables clients to see tangible results more frequently in a matter of days as opposed to months.

The Shark Tank India Pitch of Heizen

The creators started by tackling a well-known issue in the technology ecosystem: creating high-quality software is costly, time-consuming, and frequently unpredictable. They clarified that delays, misunderstandings, and growing expenses plague traditional development cycles. Heizen’s solution was marketed as a more intelligent option since it combined human engineers and AI agents to speed up development without compromising dependability.

They then walked the Sharks through how Heizen works. The business uses structured weekly sprint cycles in place of lengthy, strict project timeframes. AI tools free up engineers to concentrate on more complex problem-solving by helping with coding, debugging, documenting, and testing. The founders asserted that this hybrid model significantly increases delivery speed without sacrificing quality.

Naturally, the Sharks focused on differentiating themselves. What prevents international SaaS platforms or big IT service providers from adopting this model? In response, the founders highlighted Heizen’s early-mover advantage in AI-augmented delivery platforms, execution framework, and proprietary workflows. They contended that their emphasis was on a completely new distribution system rather than merely tools.

Scalability swiftly became a topic of discussion. The model’s ability to support rapid client expansion without causing operational instability was questioned by the Sharks. In response, the founders emphasized Heizen’s sprint-based structure, established procedures, and expanding technical capabilities, positioning the company as a platform-led system as opposed to a consultancy that relies on human labor.

The Ask

The founders then revealed their ask: ₹90 lakhs for 1% equity, implying a bold valuation of Rs 90 Crores.

Sharks Reactions

Shark Aman pointed out one concern in the business which is the quality of talent that can go away when paid better salaries, thus he opted out.

Shark Ritesh doubted the idea which can be copied by other players which directly impacts margins, he backed out stating this.

Shark Namita said that their average customer size and time value per customer is low. She backed out as well.

Shark Amit Jain, on the other hand, was interested in the business, he directly offered – Rs 90 Lakhs for 3% equity at the valuation of Rs 30 Crores, stating that it’s too early in the stage.

Shark Anupam Mittal applauded the “women in Tech” and gave the founders the same offer – Rs 90 Lakhs for 3% equity at the valuation of Rs 30 Crores.

Founders insisted on keeping the valuation intact, Anupam gave a final counter offer of Rs 90 Lakhs for 2.5% equity at the valuation of Rs 36 Crores.

Founder’s last offer was Rs 90 Lakhs for 2% equity at the valuation of Rs 45 Crores.

Anupam and Amit both agreed for the counter offer, now it put the founders in the position of choice.

Final Deal

Founders went ahead with Shark Amit Jain’s offer stating his 6 years work experience in Trilogy. Thus, Heizen got the deal – Rs 90 Lakhs for 2% equity at the valuation of Rs 45 Crores.

What Next For Heizen?

Following their successful appearance on Shark Tank India, Heizen is poised to scale its AI-augmented software delivery platform globally. With a fresh investment of ₹90 lakhs, the company aims to enhance its proprietary LLM-driven workflows and expand its engineering capacity. By further refining their weekly sprint-based delivery model, they plan to onboard more enterprise clients in the USA and India, capitalizing on their current 20% monthly growth rate.

The strategic partnership with Amit Jain is expected to provide critical mentorship, particularly leveraging his deep technical background to optimize Heizen’s platform-led system. Moving forward, the team will focus on diversifying their service offerings, including more robust internal automation tools and predictive AI features. This expansion will help solidify their position as a high-speed, cost-effective alternative to traditional software consultancies.
