Royal Bengal Greentech Pvt. Ltd. obtained funding on Shark Tank India, while other firms, including Lifeandlimb.ai and AgrowSure, represented India at the Commonwealth Startup Fellowship in the UK. In order to provide worldwide access and regulatory support for its incubated enterprises, SIIC also teamed with NMexus, a US-based accelerator, in 2025.
According to IIT Kanpur, SIIC’s efforts complement national initiatives like Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Vocal for Local, and Make in India. SIIC helps entrepreneurs in a variety of industries, which promotes economic growth and technology-driven solutions that meet societal demands.
One of the first academic incubators in the nation is the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre at IIT Kanpur. It supports innovation-driven companies by providing infrastructure, industry and government relationships, and mentorship. While coordinating its operations with India’s larger vision for innovation and self-reliance, SIIC focuses on helping businesses grow from prototype to market-ready solutions.
