Catalogus Scores Pre-seed Funding

Three points you will get to know in this article:

  1. Catalogus has successfully raised a pre-seed funding round from Zeropearl VC, marking a significant milestone in its early-stage growth.
  2. Sangeet Agarwal, Navin Parval, and Rohin Mittal (founders of Mokobara and AdYogi) also took part in the round.
  3. Zeropearl VC focuses on early-stage investments, particularly in Consumer (D2C/B2C) and SaaS/GenAI sectors.

A New Funding Milestone for AI Startup Catalogus

Catalogus, an AI-powered product experience management system, has acquired early funding from Zeropearl VC to pursue its aim of changing ecommerce cataloging procedures in India.  Sangeet Agarwal, Navin Parval, and Rohin Mittal (founders of Mokobara and AdYogi) also took part in the round. Catalogus was founded in 2023 by Himanshu Dikshit, Ankit Samria, and Vipin Kumar Singh, with the goal of reinventing the cataloging process by assisting ecommerce firms in automating their product listing procedures.

The freshly raised funds will be used to grow the company’s engineering team, improve product development, and transform the platform into a full-fledged, AI-powered cataloging workbench capable of handling both textual and visual information at scale.

Statements By Founders of Catalogus and Zeropearl

Catalogus Co-founder Himanshu Dikshit stated, “We are thrilled to have Zeropearl’s support as we grow Catalogus into India’s most intelligent product experience management platform.  Their comprehensive awareness of the issues that e-commerce firms confront, as well as their belief in our goal, was evident from the start.  Beyond capital, their extensive network in the D2C ecosystem will open doors and accelerate productive interactions.

Bipin Shah, Founder and Managing Partner at Zeropearl VC, remarked, “In GenAI/tech investing, we back 10 times better solutions—Catalogus fits that perfectly.” Their AI-first strategy addresses a critical e-commerce pain point, and the founders have extensive expertise at ANS Commerce, P&G, and Jiomart.  We’re thrilled to be able to help this talented team redefine cataloging.”

Future Plans by Catalogus with Latest Funding

In the short term, the founders intend to expand Catalogus’ integrations with key marketplaces and automate the entire process of creating and uploading product listings.

Looking ahead, they intend to productize image generation and editing procedures, transforming Catalogus into a comprehensive cataloging solution for both Indian and worldwide e-commerce firms.
