In Shark Tank India 5, the deep-tech startup Kelvin6k from Chennai made an exciting pitch. Dr. Pradeepkumar Sundarraj and Dr. Ravi Kant Upadhyay, the founders, presented their mobile robotic arm (the Kelvin6k ATOM), capable of on-site structure construction through 3D printing.
The novel approach instantly drew the interest of investors and audiences alike.
During their pitch, the founders spoke about their ambitious goals.
They said, “Aaj humein kai deshon se business proposals bhi mil rahe hain, lekin humare sapne to chhote chaand ke paar jaane ke hain. 2030 tak humara target hai Moon aur Mars par 3D print karna.
Hum dekh rahe hain ki future India ke liye aur duniya ke liye kya possibilities hain.”
They also explained the technology’s flexibility and eco-friendly design and added, “Solar energy ka use karke, sand aur other materials se ek big set bana kar, usse align karke hum destination habitat create kar sakte hain bina cement ya kisi aur traditional material ke.
Demo mein aapko dikhaana chahiye ki ghar yahan par kaise banega. Ek pillar build karenge, aur agar accelerator use karein to 10-20 minutes mein 2 feet ka structure print kiya ja sakta hai.
Installation mein aap few steps follow karke same result achieve kar sakte hain.”
