Two entrepreneurs recently presented their headphones company on Shark Tank India Season 4, attempting to establish a business in experiencing sound. According to Jagath Biddappa and Navajith Karkera, the founders of Sonic Lamb, their special technology allows the user to feel the sound rather than merely hear it. The Story Behind Sonic Lamb

Co-founders Jagath and Navajith came up with Sonic Lamb, combining their love of music and creativity into a business. Navajith’s enthusiasm for rich, immersive sound was sparked by his early recollections of listening to music on his father’s Japanese home theater system. He eventually obtained a degree in mechanical engineering as a result of his endless hours of fiddling with gadgets because of his fascination with electronics.

When Navajith and Jagath met in Sahyadri College of Engineering in Mangalore, their mutual passion for technology and music grew into a collaboration. Their participation in a student-led project known as the “Dreamers” team, which gave them the opportunity to present their ideas on national stages, strengthened their partnership. With Sonic Lamb, they hope to transform the way that people listen to music by providing a whole sensory experience rather than just sound.

Sharks comments on the product

The product’s packaging immediately impressed the “sharks,” but it was Namita Thapar who brought up the issue by asking the entrepreneurs to contrast their goods with those of Aman Gupta’s boAt. Although the entrepreneur claimed that their “audio quality and the experience” set them apart, the price difference was also mentioned. The inventors of Sonic Lamb revealed that their product costs Rs 17,999, whereas a comparable boAt product costs between Rs 2,000 and Rs 2,500.

Anupam Mittal stated that they were in a difficult financial situation when the founders discussed the economics of their company and disclosed the two fundraising rounds they had received in addition to the grant they had been given when they first began the company. Additionally, the founders clarified that they were attempting to establish two facets of the same company. One was the direct-to-consumer headphones business, and the other was the immersive sound business, which they hope to license to automakers.

Aman Gupta refuses to make an offer for competitor’s headphones company, asks them to license technology for his own business

Although he declined to invest in the company, Aman Gupta advised the founders to get in touch with his company so they could license the technology for their high-end headphones. Both Vineeta Singh and Anupam Mittal submitted offers, but they had numerous conditions for the purchase to proceed and wanted the founders to go a different route. Peyush Bansal, who lauded their “phenomenal” product, also extended an offer.
