Sandeep Jangra and Ishan Chugh went on Shark Tank India season 3 to talk about their pizza and fast food business. They started by sharing interesting things about their hometown, Gohana, a small town in Haryana, India. Sandeep explained that he left his job in Gurgaon to start a pizza business in Gohana and now they have a variety of pizzas, garlic breads, choco lava, and other items. During their pitch, they asked for INR 1 crore for 2% equity at a valuation of INR 50 crores. Sandeep let the Sharks taste their food items and mentioned that they sell more than 4 lakh pizzas every month. The Sharks asked them questions. Vineeta Singh asked about their local competitors, Anupam Mittal asked about their background, Namita Thapar asked about their vision, and Aman Gupta asked about their franchise model and revenue generation process. However, the founders couldn’t provide clear answers. Even though the Sharks were impressed with their passion, they finally decided not to invest in the business because the business model and the process were not clear enough to them.
