Rahul Tyagi and Samiksha Yadav founded Ugees in 2022, which provides a safer substitute for conventional detergents, resulting in pH imbalances, rashes, itching, and UTIs.

It provides a sustainable option by doing away with the inconveniences of conventional washing techniques thanks to its 100% biodegradable surfactants.

Ugees uses a scent that has earned IFRA certification, guaranteeing a gentle, allergy-free experience.

Vaginal infections are very common in women because their undergarments aren’t as clean as they should be - Namita Thapar, highlighting the importance of Ugees.

The “sharks” were perplexed by Rahul and Samiksha’s pitch of Ugees as a product for guys. However, they had brought up the risk of infection that women face.

They presented their financials, reporting revenue of ₹63 lakh in FY22-23, ₹1.75 crore in FY23-24, and an expected closing of ₹4.5-5 crore for the current fiscal year.

Founders valued Ugees at Rs 20 crore and demanded Rs 50 lakh in return for 2.5% equity.

Anupam Mittal offered them Rs 50 lakh in exchange for 5% stock. In contrast, Namita and Aman came up with a proposal of Rs 50 lakh for 6% equity.

Following a brief conversation, founders concluded their agreement with Anupam Mittal and left with an offer that confirmed both their zeal and their resolve.
