TechnoSport Secures ₹175 Crore for Growth and Expansion

TechnoSport is a leading activewear brand offering high-quality, affordable products aimed at promoting an active, eco-friendly lifestyle globally.

In 2022, TechnoSport sold over 1 crore units, with 35+ garments sold every minute, and saved 10 lakh+ liters of water daily through sustainable practices.

The brand secured Rs 175 crore ($21 million) in its first external funding round led by A91 Partners, enhancing manufacturing, marketing, and digital presence.

Founded in 2015 by Sumit Santhalia and Sunil Jhunjhunwala, TechnoSport focuses on affordable, high-performance sportswear for the Indian market.

CEO Puspen Maity highlighted that the funding will expedite expansion, improve products, expand the customer base, and advance digital initiatives.

Co-founder Sunil Jhunjhunwala stated the investment will boost manufacturing infrastructure and digital brand presence, aiming for global expansion.

TechnoSport, with a 30-40% growth rate over three years, operates in 15 Indian states and has a presence in South Africa and the UAE.
