Tesla will launch its first-ever supercharging station in India on August 4, 2025, at One BKC in Mumbai
The charging station will feature four V4 DC superchargers delivering up to 250 kW for ₹24/kWh and four AC destination chargers offering 11 kW for ₹14/kWh.
This Mumbai station is the first of eight Tesla supercharging locations planned across India to enable seamless long-distance EV travel.
Tesla has also opened its first showroom in Mumbai and plans to launch a second in Delhi as part of its broader expansion strategy.
The Model Y RWD SUV, Tesla’s debut vehicle in India, was officially launched at ₹59.89 lakh, emphasizing the company’s focus on the premium EV market.
The Model Y can gain up to 267 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes using Tesla’s supercharger, making five round trips between key Mumbai landmarks possible.
Every new Tesla purchase in India will include free wall connector installation, encouraging convenient home charging for customers.
