Bihar-based businessman Alok pitched for his cloud kitchen company, Gaon. His goal is to spread regional Indian food throughout India and, ideally, the world.

In order to make litti chokha a pan-Indian snack that can rival momo, Alok stated that he is now concentrating on Bihari, Rajasthani, and Awadhi cuisines.

GAON takes pride in offering freshly prepared, authentic dishes inspired by the heartlands of India.

GAON elevates the dining experience with signature Bihari and Rajasthani dishes like Champaran Handi Meat and Litti Chokha.

Sales of Gaon FY 20-21: 90 lakhs. FY 21-22- 1.62 crores. FY 22-20: Rs 3.86 Cr. FY 23-24: Rs 5.5 Cr. FY 24-25: Rs 3.08 Cr till Sept. The FY 24-25 (projected): Rs 7.5 Cr.

He valued his business at Rs 20 crore and requested Rs 80 lakh in return for 4% equity. The panel of "sharks" was greatly impressed by the taste.

Anupam Mittal and Vineeta Singh together offered Alok Rs 80 lakh in exchange for 8% equity.

After considering his choices, Alok decided to lock the deal with two "sharks" rather than just Namita.
