Emomee on Shark Tank India Season 5: A High-Octane Pitch Wins Big!

Founded by husband-wife duo Varun Duggirala and Pooja Jauhari, Emomee is an edutainment brand focusing on Emotional Intelligence (EQ) for kids aged 3 to 8.

The brand uses a unique "3S" framework: Screen (digital stories), Stage (physical play zones), and Shop (branded toys) to teach children resilience, empathy, and communication.

Before the Tank, Emomee raised $1M in a pre-seed round. They operate a D2C model selling play kits and books, leveraging massive digital reach to drive physical product sales.

Founders Varun and Pooja entered the Tank seeking ₹1 Crore for 2% equity, valuing the company at ₹50 Crore. They showcased a musical pitch that highlighted the gap in emotional education.

All five Sharks were impressed! Namita, Aman, Mohit, and Kunal all matched the original valuation. Anupam offered ₹2 Crore for 5%, sparking a high-stakes bidding war among the investors.

Emomee secured a massive deal of ₹2 Crore for 4% equity. They chose the powerhouse duo of Aman Gupta and Namita Thapar to help scale their digital IP and operational reach globally.
