Founded in December 2017 by Jaipur-based Astha Katta Sirohiya and her husband, Radhesh Sirohiya built silver jewellery brand Shyle

It is redefining the way people perceive traditional jewellery by merging heritage craftsmanship with modern aesthetics

The brand has built a loyal following for its authentic and affordable designs crafted with 92.5% pure silver

The company’s mission is also to promote Jaipuri art and craftsmanship globally while creating meaningful livelihoods for artisans

Shyle has processed over 1.5 lakh orders. Its sales channels include: 82% through its own website, 8% exports, 7% Amazon, 3% other marketplaces

Shyle 2022-23 Revenue: ₹15 Crores. 2023-24 Revenue (Projected): ₹18 Crores, with ₹11 Crores achieved by November 2023. 2021-22 Revenue: ₹13 Crores

The founders pitched their startup on Shark Tank India, seeking ₹70 Lakhs for 1% equity, valuing the company at ₹70 Crores

Sharks Namita Thapar and Ritesh Agarwal: Offered ₹70 Lakhs for 1.5% equity and a 1% royalty until the ₹70 Lakhs was recovered

After initial deliberation, Namita and Ritesh revised their offer, reducing the royalty to 0.5%. The founders eventually accepted this revised deal

Future Plans: Expanding exports & targeting international markets, grow their audience, introducing new product lines (bridal jewellery or men’s accessories)
