Paytm strengthens AI leadership team with Deependra Singh Rathore as CTO and Manmeet Dhody as AI Fellow
Deependra Singh Rathore has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Manmeet Dhody, who is shifting from CTO to AI Fellow at Paytm, will lead business-related AI innovation projects
Deependra Singh Rathore has worked with Paytm and Paytm Payments Bank since January 2016. He is currently the Senior Vice President for Technology
Deependra leads AI-driven strategic initiatives and manages payment product design and execution
He developed & improved payment technology for merchants and customers, including online payment gateways, QR codes, and card payments
Rathore served as an Engineering Manager for Agnity and Snapdeal from 2004 to 2016, before joining Paytm
Paytm has reported a 35% drop in operational revenue for Q1 FY25 to Rs 1,501 crore, down from Rs 2,341 crore a year ago. Its net loss rose to Rs 840 crore from Rs 358 crore last year
