Dhruva Space is set to launch its first commercial satellite, LEAP-1, in Q3 2025 via SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket.

This milestone mission will carry payloads from Australian firms Akula Tech and Esper Satellites onboard the P-30 platform.

Akula Tech’s Nexus-01 module brings AI-driven data processing and geospatial analytics to space.

Esper Satellites’ OTR-2 hyperspectral imager will collect rich Earth observation data for multiple applications.

Dhruva Space’s P-30 satellite platform was successfully qualified during ISRO’s PSLV-C58 mission in January 2024.

The startup believes this international collaboration enhances innovation and lowers operational costs.

Founded in 2012, Dhruva Space provides full-stack engineering solutions for reliable and cost-effective access to space.

Backed by major investors, the company secured ₹123 Cr ($15 Mn) in Series A funding to expand its commercial space capabilities.
